You could not find an easier way of checking a temperature. There is one button on the thermometer. Press it once and you'll hear a beep. All you need to do is then wait for two quick beeps and you're ready to take a temperature. Hold the end of the thermometer on the temple area between the eye and hairline. In about 6 seconds, the thermometer will beep again. That's it...all you have to do is read the temperature in the little window.
